Our Rep Teams
TRYOUTS ARE CLOSED FOR THE 2025-26 SEASON | CHECK BACK AUG 2026
Our Sky Volley Rep Teams compete in the Ontario Volleyball Association and Volleyball Canada circuits. Rep athletes train 2-3 times per week and compete in 6 –8 tournaments from September until April/May, depending on the age group and level of competition.
We currently offer rep teams for boys ages 12U – 18U.
TRYOUTS
SKY Volley will launch the September tryout dates and times for the upcoming club season at the end of August. General information and details are below. Players must pre-register and pay online before attending the tryouts.

FAQs
Here are some frequently asked questions our parents & players often ask…
Our competition season for our 12U-14U teams runs from October until mid-February. Each team will play in 6-7 events strictly in the USA, with a culminating event in February to end our Fall/Winter season.
Our competition season for our 15U-18U teams runs from October-April. Each team will play in 8-9 tournaments, culminating with a 3 day Ontario Championships event in April.
Our 12U-14U teams practice 2x per week, with one of our practices always being on Sunday morning/early afternoon and our second practice per week is different for each age, sometime Tuesday-Thursday.
Our 15U-18U teams practice 2-3x per week, with one of our practices always being on Sunday morning/early afternoon along with a weight training session, and our second practice per week is different for each age, sometime Tuesday-Thursday.
We also have a Monday night High Performance session for our 15U-18U teams along with setter training for all of the designated setters within our club on Monday nights.
Boys are welcome to tryout for our teams as young as 10 years old for our 12U boys team.
No volleyball experience is required to attend the tryout. Many young boys have little exposure to volleyball at this age so we are looking for athletes that we feel we can train to become developed players in the future.
The parents can watch tryouts from the upstairs track at the Toldo Lancer Center. No parents are permitted to be in the gymnasium on the main floor or watching from the doors outside the gymnasium during our tryout period.
All families will be notified via email if their child was selected for one of our travel teams or not. We will be using the email address that you include in your LeagueApps tryout registration so please provide an active email address that gets checked regularly.
Athletes will be required to find travel to each of the events on their own. The club is not responsible for shuttling athletes to and from events. The athletes can carpool if you wish.
Each year, the athletes will be required to register with the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) through their MRS system (roughly $95 fee) in order to be eligible to participate in OVA competition and be insured by our club to practice and compete.
Athletes will also have to complete a one-time Respect In Sport module (roughly $20) in order to compete at the Ontario Championships each year.
Additionally, travel and accommodation will be up to the families to provide for each of our events not held in Windsor.
