Program Outline
We are excited to launch SKY Volley’s first ever spring teams. This year, we will be holding tryouts for boys who are in grade 7 (13U) and grade 8 (14U) for a 5 week spring season. This is perfect for boys who are interested in volleyball but were unable to commit to the long season due to their involvement in other sports.
Our spring team will train 2x per week and compete in a 2 day event in Illinois May 2-3 to conclude our short spring season. All athletes are welcome to tryout, including those who played for the 13U and 14U boys team this past season with SKY.

$10 fee to register for the tryout
Practice Schedule
Tuesdays | 6:30-8:30pm at Essex High School
Wednesdays | 6:30-8:30pm at Riverside High School
$250 | Returning players from the 13U SKY Team
$305 | New players to our club
This includes a uniform and warmup t-shirt.
New athletes will also be required to register with AAU, there is a small fee attached to this registration.

Here are some frequently asked questions our parents & players often ask…
There is parking right next to the building. Follow parking instructions. There may be fees on certain days/times. Enter through the main doors. Gym is on the main floor.
- Be sure to NOT wear your outdoor shoes on the courts. Bring separate court shoes.
- Kneepads (if typically worn)
- Waterbottle
- Warmups
If we are running programs or tryouts at the Toldo Lancer Centre (TLC), parents are allowed to watch from the track located on the second level. If we are running programs at local elementary or secondary schools, we ask that those sessions remain clear of parents in the gymnasium as the space is limited.
There are no additional costs after registration fees are paid.
